2.2 The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the following areas: • The role of the Delivery Unit; • Method of working; • Programme for Government Annual Report; • Delivery of the legislative programme.

3.1 The First Minister was accompanied by Kate Cassidy, Director for Communities and Social Justice, Welsh Government and Eleanor Marks, Deputy Director, Communities Division, Welsh Government.
3.2 The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the following areas: • Child poverty and cross-departmental working; • Child poverty targets and measures; • The role of the Welsh Government in Relation to the UK Government; • The Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011.
3.3 The Chair pointed out that there is data to indicate that Scotland has been more successful than elsewhere in reducing child poverty. The First Minister will write to the Chair to outline his view on this matter and the reasons behind this.
